For more than 5 decades, since 1967, WH Kemp has manufactured cable harnesses, control panels and electro-mechanical assemblies. We are the longest-established manufacturer of our kind in England. From our purpose-built factory in Westbury, Wiltshire, we supply high-tech customers, including some of the biggest names in engineering.

The electrical components and assemblies we build are installed in machinery, instruments and vehicles used around the world, often in demanding environments. Our work goes into sectors such as defence, nuclear, medical, science, aviation, precision agriculture and uncrewed systems. It is varied work, not repetitive production line work, and it matters. The products our people help build let thousands of others live and work more safely.

Our teams are IPC/WHMA-A-620 trained, and we have held ISO 9001 certification since 1997. Everything is built to documented work instructions, inspected and fully traceable. Full training is provided, and we have a long record of developing our people’s skills, skills that are transferable. As you build experience, you get the opportunity to work independently, building complete assemblies with minimum supervision.

We work full-time Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:45pm, and finish at 1:30pm on Fridays. We do not operate a shift system. The work suits people who take pride in doing careful work properly. If you have a safety-first attitude, strong attention to detail and a desire to get it right first time, you will fit the way we work.

Experience in wiring, cable assembly, quality or production is what we are most interested in, but if your background is close, tell us anyway.
