Medical training, simulation and scientific equipment often depends on small, delicate and rather complex electrical assemblies performing consistently within sophisticated products. WH Kemp manufactures wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, control boxes and electromechanical assemblies for this type of precision, low-volume work. The scale may be smaller than in other sectors, but the requirements for controlled processes, inspection and traceability remain clear.
Our Sector Experience
We manufacture wiring looms for a Bristol-based manufacturer of medical training and simulation equipment used by healthcare professionals internationally. Our assemblies go into products designed to help clinicians develop and practise clinical skills, work that requires accurate, repeatable manufacture across a specialised, varied product range. It’s a good example of what suits us well, technically demanding, precision focused, and requiring a manufacturing partner who understands the product as closely as the customer does.
Our experience also includes building electrical assemblies that have gone into critical medical equipment, including MRI systems, blood transfusion equipment and incubators. These are supplied as part of longer manufacturing chains.
Built for Precision Work
WH Kemp supports prototype and initial production builds, new-product introduction, low-volume high-mix manufacture, documented inspection, electrical testing and full product traceability. These controls provide evidence of conformance when a customer or auditor needs to review how an assembly has been produced.
