Our Processes for Control Panel Manufacture
To ensure maximum product and cost efficiency, WH Kemp operates a 5-stage process, consulting with the customer throughout. We start by identifying and selecting a team of WH Kemp individuals with the optimum mix of skills and expertise for the job. Together, working closely with the customer, they move methodically through the Brief, Design, Production, Testing and Delivery stages.
Testing our Control Panels is of critical importance. We hold an inventory of testing equipment on site, well known and widely used in the industry. However, we often build our own, bespoke testing systems. Always driven by our customer promise of providing Control Panels that work first time and every time, when integrated by our customers into their final machinery destination.
We treat every customer’s assignment as unique, always ensuring their timescales are met. New projects are allocated a pod within our large open plan factory, before setting up appropriate tooling and machinery at workstations, following 5S / CANDO principles.
We also work closely with enclosure suppliers and have identified a reliable local network of metalwork companies, should a customer request that we supply all parts for the job.
Our Performance
WH Kemp’s Control Boxes are made in accordance with IPC standards. We hold UL accreditation and manufacture within a Quality Management System conforming to ISO 9001.
