New Product Introduction
New products rarely arrive as perfect manufacturing packages. Drawings may still be evolving, materials may need to be validated, and the customer may be learning how the product performs while the manufacturing process is being developed.
Our New Projects team acts as the voice of the customer inside WH Kemp, bringing together estimating, purchasing, production engineering, quality and manufacturing to make sure the requirement is understood and the first build reflects what the customer intended.

Product Transfers and Supplier Recovery
Customers sometimes come to WH Kemp because a current supplier can no longer provide the capacity, consistency, documentation or response their programme requires. Others need to transfer production from a small specialist source to a manufacturer capable of supporting future growth.
We review existing drawings, samples, tooling, materials and inspection requirements, raise differences openly, and establish an agreed approval process before volume production begins. The aim is not merely to move the work, but to reduce disruption and build a dependable long-term supply route.
Procurement That Works With Your Supply Chain
We can purchase and manage the complete bill of materials, work with free-issued components, or operate a combination of both. Where customers have negotiated strategic pricing with their suppliers, we can often purchase against the same supported-pricing arrangements, preserving the customer’s commercial position while taking responsibility for manufacture.

Stockholding, Kanban and Shop-Floor Delivery
For repeat programmes, manufacturing is only one part of the requirement. Customers may need buffer stock, scheduled call-offs, kits packed in production sequence, or assemblies delivered directly to the point of use.
WH Kemp supports customer-specific stock and delivery arrangements, including Kanban systems and direct delivery to factory production areas. The objective is to protect continuity of supply while reducing time, handling and working capital at the customer’s site.
